My 2022 Books of the Year

I’ve read a lot of books this year. Mostly it’s been contemporary romances – I know! Who’d have guessed? But I’ve also read in my other go-to genres of crime and historical romance. And after much deliberation and agonising I’ve managed to pick a favourite contemporary romantic read for each month of 2022 – plus 2 from the other two aforementioned genres. All got 5 out of 5 stars from me. They are all wonderful reads.

So, without further ado, here they are.

(Just click on a title to be taken to that book’s Amazon page where you can find out more about the story)

  1. I love your list of favourites, especially as they take place in different parts of the world. Queen of the Desert really appeals to me. A book I read this year that I really enjoyed was The Skylark’s Secret by Fiona Valpy. But I read many other great books including Baby Steps by an author I think you know!! Have a very Happy Christmas, Anne and a productive 2023.

    • Haha! Now what author could that be? 🙂 Thanks as always Darlene for visiting and commenting and for all your support. I’ll check out the book you mention. Happy Christmas to you too and all the best for 2023.
